PRESS RELEASE

September 6, 2005
09/06/2005 COEXTRUSION: A SOLUTION LOOKING FOR A PROBLEM

Teel has expanded it’s offering of Coextruded and Specialty Materials.

The coextrusion process is commonly being used to produce film, sheet, profiles and tubing and serves many purposes in today’s market. The combination of multiple materials can create the opportunity to modify a product’s properties to yield changes such as chemical resistance, mechanical attributes, visual and aesthetic appearance and/or cost to an otherwise singular material.

New devices are being designed every day. New materials are being formulated every day. Coextrusion can be a link to join these expanding technologies into future products. Many successful products have already been put into production, but there are still endless possibilities for new combinations. Coextrusion is the solution…What is your problem?

Look for Chris O’Connor’s feature article in the September 2005 issue of MD&DI magazine. For Chris’s over twenty-one years at Teel, he continues to play an important role in the product and process design of tubing, coating, coextrusion, corrugation, profiles for medical, automotive, industrial, packaging, health and science markets.
